After completing his undergraduate studies in 2000 with majors in English Literature and Economics, Muhammad Usama Ghazi went on to acquire an LLB degree from the University of the Punjab where he was the recipient of a three-year merit based scholarship. He also ensured that he had practical experience in the law field by practicing in the Civil Courts, Lahore. He then changed tracks by completing his Civil Superior Services (C.S.S) Exam in 2006. He also won various national debating competitions during his early school years which is reflected in his confident linguistic skills as an anchor.
Muhammad Usama Ghazi is included among some of the most well educated journalists in Pakistan. After completing his bachelors with a double major in Economics and English Literature, he went on to pursue and acquire LLB degree from the University of Punjab. He then passed the notoriously difficult Civil Superior Services Exam. His long list of academic merits and achievements reflect his sheer devotion and commitment to executing every responsibility he takes on with exemplary dedication and noteworthy enthusiasm.
Muhammad Usama Ghazi brought extensive, in-depth coverage of the 2008 elections to his beloved audiences across the country. During the 2013 elections when he was working with Dunya on his show "Top Story", he pointed out inconsistencies in an Election Commission Officers script to which the election commission responded immediately.
